Greeting Brethren!

So far it’s been an exciting year and I thank everyone for their support thus far. We’ve made some great new brothers this year and I congratulate them, including our new MMs who made history by being raised at the statewide degree at the end of March. What an amazing sight to see so many brothers being raised on one day. What an event!

We will be continuing with some degree work during May including a special communication for an MM degree on June 1st. Even though this a large work load, it will be a welcome relief to get the work done before the excruciating heat of the summer enters the lodge. My hope is that everyone will be able to help out with all the parts of these degrees and make light work for all. I’d like to especially encourage our new MMs to participate and give a small part a try. Talk to me and we can see what part might be good for you. I will have sign up sheets for each part at our next communication.

Completing all this degree work will also give the opportunity for all brothers and candidates to see the Beehive lecture performed by WB Ron Salla on Union No. 5 on June 6th. This is an amazing lecture which explores many of the more minute details and symbols of the MM degree and Ron does an excellent job so you won’t want to miss it! Our last meeting in June will be a Table Lodge which is always a great night of fun, good food and brotherly love.

Again, if there is anything you’d like to see us do at lodge, please don’t hesitate to make suggestions to me. I’d love to see new events and everyone getting involved to show we are still one of the best lodges in the state. I hope the warmth of the spring and summer seasons bring health and happiness to you all and your families.

Thank you and God bless!
